Welcome to the Contemplative Prayer Group of Northeast Wisconsin

We are a group of people of all faiths who meet together to learn and practice contemplative prayer, to encourage one another in our spiritual journeys, and to share our experiences with contemplative prayer. We welcome people of all Christian faiths, and are an LGBTQ+ affirming community.

We meet every Thursday evening at 6:30. Individual or group instruction on the different types of contemplative prayer is available on request. On the first Thursday of the month, Taize Prayer is offered in the chapel. The Prayer Room will also be open for individual Centering Prayer.

This means that the Contemplative Prayer Group has only one opportunity during December to meet as a group. Here is the schedule (and I hope you will be able to join in the other prayer opportunities being offered!):

Thursday, 6:30 December 5th: Taize Prayer in the chapel

Thursday, 6:30 December 12th: Contemplative Prayer Group in the Prayer Room

Thursday, 7:00 December 19th: Light for the Longest Night, in the sanctuary

Thursday, December 26th: Office is closed, no evening activities

Thursday, 6:30 January 2nd: Taize Prayer in the chapel

Thursday, January 9th: We resume meeting weekly at 6:30!
